Doing Great!!!

I feel good...just like I knew I would.... I was up and out of the hospital in 5 days, after the surgery. It was a bigger surgery than I anticipated, but judging from my health status, it was a success. I have gotten bored with this cancer business. I have had chemo every week since Feb. 21st. except March 20th. Now that flu season has subsided and the sun is shining I hope to get out of the house more and instigate some fun. I did manage to have my family for Easter(18 adults for dinner).

My mood is improving. I played with a girlfriend for a few days, quilted with my sisters, pulled a few weeds this week and made it to the gym 2 times. I have to shape a new life now that I don't work and believe you, I enjoy this leisure time. I say it is like being a teenager, but you have money in your pocket and for the most part you are the boss. I do have a few Dr. bosses and a few friends and family bosses who take a bit of wind out of my sails so I fly more cautiously.

This week after chemo, I am begging RAD to go to Keenland. We are also leaving on Friday for an eastern tour: NY, Boston and PA Amish country. I need to get out of this house. Love and prayers to you all.
