Ruth is home

Ruthie was able to come home this afternoon. It is great to be in your own house and bed. She is doing quite well.

They are predicting a snow storm tonight - it will be nice to be able to watch it from home and not have to worry about driving home from Lexington in it.

Good News

The surgery went as expected.  "No surprises" is good news.  Ruthie has been up and walking the last two days and is drinking a lot of fluids.  She is right on schedule with her recovery.
